Projects & project locations

While you have some flexibility to choose your interview location, it is important to be aware that the project location may differ from your place of residence, so it is important to be flexible in this regard.

If you are selected to join Acasus, we want to give you the best possible developmental path. To support you in this process, we will set up an onboarding session in your first week, where you will receive all the basic information and training you need to get started. The project and project locations will be finalised after your first week. Please note that you can be placed in any province of Pakistan.

Expected timeline (we reserve the right to make changes)

  • 27 January to 13 February, 2026: The application period.
  • Beginning of March 2026: You will receive feedback on the outcome of your application.
  • March to April 2026: Interviews.
  • Final decision and offers will be sent by the end of May 2026.
  • The contract commences from early July.

Interviews

The recruitment process will consist of three case study interviews and one general interview. Our plan is to conduct the first two interviews online, the 3rd round in-person and the final round online, although there may be some exceptions.

How will you make an impact?

By capturing insights from the field, developing relationships with government stakeholders, and reviewing data, you will support the government in making decisions that can improve healthcare for millions of Pakistani citizens.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and capture insights from the field.
  • Use data and other information for analysis and decision-making purposes.
  • Plan and develop strategies.
  • Design and implement new systems, in addition to further improving existing systems.
  • Identify issues and their root causes.
  • Give recommendations constructing multiple scenarios, and advise where necessary.
  • Develop excellent relationships with government officials and international partners.
  • Assess international evidence, and apply lessons about what is known to work.

We are looking for:

  • Fresh graduates who have completed internships, or working professionals with 1–3 years of experience, preferably within management and strategy consulting.
  • Previous work or internship experience within the development sector, or consulting.
  • Experience at top-tier consultancies is advantageous.
  • Leadership roles in extracurricular activities is a plus.
  • Research conducted within health or education is an advantage.
  • Attaining a university degree by the summer of 2026 is a prerequisite, and having an outstanding academic record is will help your application.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A strong drive and motivation to make a positive impact, including an interest in social issues and public sector development.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • The willingness to travel on a weekly basis, including visits to remote locations.
