How will you make an impact?
As an Implementation Associate, you will support officials at regional levels to implement a customised version of our reform model. This involves strengthening management systems and analysing data that will enable rapid action to improve health outcomes and save lives. Your actions will help strengthen the health system at a national level, by improving effectiveness and efficiency.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and capture insights from the field.
- Use data and other information for analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Plan and develop strategies.
- Construct short documents with a logical and effective sequence (e.g. one-page summaries of short presentations).
- Design and implement new systems, and improve existing ones to improve project outcomes.
- Identify issues, break down problems and identify root causes.
- Give recommendations constructing multiple scenarios and advise where necessary.
- Launch interventions, such as stocktakes, from start to finish.
- Develop excellent relationships with regional stakeholders.
- Assess international evidence and learn lessons about pragmatic solutions.
We are looking for
- 2+ years of experience working in the health system (ideally immunisation).
- Experience in the medical and management field coordinating immunisation-related projects.
- Prior experience in data collection and analysis, including fieldwork.
- Can use spreadsheets to conduct supervision and stocktakes.
- Experience coordinating with local authorities and health staff.
- A university degree is a must (ideally in a health-related field or management).
- Excellent English, Pashto and Dari language is essential.
- You are comfortable working closely with technology.
- Good problem-solving and consulting skills.
- Strong drive and motivation to serve citizens.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel.
