About Acasus

Acasus helps governments help people.

We are a consultancy delivering transformational reforms in health and education. Having built a reputation in dynamic, and often challenging, countries and contexts, we believe in making brave change.

Acasus undertakes high-profile projects in an expanding group of countries, including Pakistan, Chad, the DRC, Mozambique, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

From increasing vaccine delivery, to providing greater education access for children, our consultants are helping millions of people access better services around the world.

Join us if you want the opportunity to do the same.

How will you make an impact?

This is not a typical recruiter role. You will be looking for exceptional candidates in a niche market, helping to hire the next generation of consultants who will drive reforms in health and education systems and create meaningful change in low- and middle-income countries worldwide. Our recruitment team is dedicated to high-quality hiring, and you will play a key role in attracting talent to a company where real impact is made.

We’re looking for a Recruitment Manager to build the talent engine that makes impact possible in tough, fast-changing environments. You’ll lead a global recruitment function that attracts extraordinary, values-aligned people as Acasus grows across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

The role is open as both a fixed-term assignment and a permanent position, depending on the candidate’s profile and mutual agreement.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment team, building a high-performing, mission-aligned function

  • Work with leadership, project, and partnership teams to align talent needs and priorities

  • Own recruitment operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, consistency, and scalability

  • Refine recruitment tools, systems, and assessments for rigour and candidate experience

  • Coach and develop recruiters to elevate capability, judgement, and impact

  • Maintain high hiring standards around values, expectations, and performance

  • Drive recruitment analytics to give clear insight on pipeline health and bottlenecks

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Psychology, HR, or a related field.

  • Due to legal and compliance requirements, this position is open only to EU citizens.

  • You have led recruitment activities in fast-growing, international, and ideally consulting environments, and understand how to find quality in tough markets (10+ years)

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, are excited by hiring in complex markets, build systems in motion, and care deeply about finding exceptional people to deliver impact

  • Excellent English (written and spoken); French or Portuguese a plus.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — able to act as a strategic partner to hiring managers.

  • Project leadership experience is an advantage.

  • You bring a hands-on, structured, and analytical approach

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and resilient

  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and eagerness to learn new tools and methods.

What’s in it for you?

  • A competitive compensation package, including base salary, private health insurance, cafeteria benefits, annual performance-based bonus, yearly salary increments, and All You Can Move support.

  • High levels of responsibility and autonomy.

  • We offer a flexible working model—most days you can work from home, with 1–2 days a week in the office to connect with the team.

  • Opportunities to learn and grow within an enthusiastic and supportive team

  • A focus on quality hiring rather than quantity.

  • The chance to see your work make a tangible impact on health and education services every day.

  • Opportunities to connect with colleagues worldwide at annual global conferences.

Our team is diverse in nationality, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, class, age, education and sexuality. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
