How will you make an impact?

As a Senior Associate, you will plan and develop strategies that support the government in improving healthcare outcomes for citizens in Mozambique. You should have 3+ years of experience in management or strategy consulting.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and capture insights from the field.

  • Coach and support stakeholders and team members with problem solving.

  • Use data and other information for analysis and decision-making purposes.

  • Plan and develop strategies to improve the lives of citizens. 

  • Construct and structure documents for stakeholders, including stocktakes.

  • Design and implement new systems, in addition to improving existing ones.

  • Identify issues and their root causes.

  • Give recommendations constructing multiple scenarios, and advise where necessary.

  • Develop excellent relationships with officials and partners.

  • Plan and run meetings with senior stakeholders.

  • Guide and mentor Associates, monitoring their progress.

  • Assess international evidence and learn lessons about pragmatic solutions.

We're looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in management or strategy consulting.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience.

  • Previous experience in the public sector.

  • A track record of working in Mozambique.

  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Great analytical skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • A strong drive and motivation to help citizens.
